- Surgical Errors
- Misdiagnosis
- Birth Injuries
- Inadequate levels of care
Most medical treatment and nursing care, proceeds without incident or problem due to the highly skilled staff of the National Health Service and the private healthcare sector. Unfortunately sometimes mistakes do happen and you may be entitled to compensation if it can be shown that the mistake was due to the negligence of the treating health professional.
Medical negligence claims are complex and you will need the assistance of a solicitor in pursuing such a claim. Just because the treatment did not go to plan, does not automatically mean that you have been the victim of negligence. All forms of treatment carry some risk and are not always successful and you will have been informed of that risk at the outset of your treatment. Nevertheless you may have a potential claim if the standard of treatment and or care that you received fell below the standard that could have been reasonably expected.
We can advise you upon whether or not you have a potential claim and if you do we may be able to represent you under a conditional fee agreement more commonly known as ‘no win no fee’.
It is important that you contact us as soon as possible as there are strict time limits within which to bring such claims.
